Using a uniform resource management, real and virtual servers can be assigned to applications on demand. Dynamic server provisioning and built-in high-availability functions ensure that required service levels are met and administration efforts are reduced significantly.
By pooling and sharing of server resources FlexFrame Infrastructure is an ideal platform for server consolidation and fast delivery of new services. The resource management of FlexFrame Infrastructure hides the complexity of various server- and I/O-virtualization technologies and shifts administration tasks from dealing with technologies to managing service levels.
PRIMERGY BladeFrame is the first FlexFrame Infrastructure implementation in our DDC platform portfolio. FlexFrame Infrastructure will gradually extend the operating principle of BladeFrame to the PRIMERGY Blade Server line, starting with BX600.
